Kambosos Jr. VS Haney

An all-star undercard has been set in stone for George Kambosos’ showdown with Devon Haney at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne.

Kambosos is attempting to become just the seventh undisputed world champion across all weight divisions since the four-belt era began back in 2004.

The Australian, who shot to fame with his epic, upset win over Teófimo López last November, is going to extreme lengths to achieve the feat, so much so that he has cut out sex in an attempt to give him an edge.

He isn’t the only Australian with something to prove, with belts and pride at stake in undercard.

Former world titleholder Lucas Browne (30-3, 26KOs), who has been sparring rising Australian heavyweight star Justis Huni over the past fortnight, will take on New Zealand contender Junior Fa (19-1, 10KOs)

In other fights, WBC silver bantamweight titleholder Jason Moloney (23-2, 18KOs) will take on Filipino Aston Palicte (28-4-1, 23KOs) in a 10-rounder for the vacant WBO International bantamweight title.

Unbeaten New Zealand cruiserweight David Nyika, who has been training alongside Tyson Fury and former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, will also take to the ring against a yet to be announced opponent.
